How to keep colors bright

Bright scrubs deserve a gentle routine. A few habits keep color lively.

Here they are.

Wash cool

Cool water is kind to color. That matches the care note on the Classic V-Neck Scrub Set.

Wash like colors together. You can see the Men's V-Neck Scrub Top for the details.

Dry low

Tumble dry low or hang to dry. Take pieces out when dry.

Low heat is gentler on color.

Turn them inside out

Inside out helps protect the surface.

Zip jackets and close drawstrings first.

Small habits that add up

Wash scrubs with similar colors, and avoid mixing dark and light pieces in one load. Use the cool setting and a mild detergent. Take scrubs out of the dryer once they are dry so they do not sit in the heat. Hang or fold them straight away. Rotate your sets through the week so no single piece gets washed more often than the others.

Check pockets before each wash for pens and paper, which can mark fabric. Treat spots as soon as you see them, then wash as usual. Store sets out of direct sunlight. These habits take only a few minutes, and they keep the colors looking fresh from one wash to the next.
