How to wash and care for scrubs

Scrubs go through the wash often. A few easy habits keep them looking neat.

The basic wash

Machine wash cool and tumble dry low. That is the care note on the Classic V-Neck Scrub Set and Men's V-Neck Scrub Top.

Wash similar colors together.

Small habits

Turn pieces inside out to protect the color. Zip up the jacket before washing.

Take items out of the dryer while still a little warm and fold them right away.

Stains and pockets

Check pockets before every wash. Treat spots as soon as you can.

A simple wash day

Sort your scrubs by color, turn them inside out and zip any jackets. Use the cool setting and a normal amount of detergent. Take them out of the dryer while still a little warm and fold or hang them right away. That keeps creases to a minimum, so you can pull a set from the drawer and head out the door. Store them folded or on a hanger in a dry place. Wash day takes little time, and a routine is easier than rushing on a busy morning.
