What scrub fabrics are made of

Fabric names on scrubs can sound like a puzzle. Here is what they mean in plain words.

We name the fabric on every product page.

A blend

A blend mixes two or more fibers. Our sets are polyester blends with elastane, and the classic and jogger sets add rayon.

Elastane is the fiber that adds stretch.

What stretch means

Stretch fabric bends with you. It is handy when you reach and kneel through a long shift.

See the Slim Fit Scrub Set for a fitted cut in a stretch blend.

Read the label

Check for the fabric line, the fit and the care note. A good page names all three.

Our sets list them under Materials and size. Browse the scrub sets collection.

Reading a fabric line

The fabric line on a product page tells you the main material and whether it stretches. The Slim Fit Scrub Set reads polyester and elastane blend, the Classic V-Neck Scrub Set reads polyester, rayon and elastane blend, and the Men's V-Neck Scrub Top reads cotton twill. Where we write "about", the supplier gives an approximate figure. Compare the fabric line, the fit and the care note across sets, and the choice usually becomes clear. The same line also helps when you compare us with other shops.

Questions and answers
