Care for a stretch blend

Stretch blends are easy to care for once you know the rules. The main one is to avoid high heat.

Here are the steps.

Wash cool

Use the cool setting. That is the care note on the Slim Fit Scrub Set and Classic V-Neck Scrub Set.

A gentle cycle is fine.

Dry low

Tumble dry low, or hang to dry. Skip high heat; low is gentler on the fabric.

Fold pieces while still warm.

Skip softener

Fabric softener can leave a film. Leave it out.

Store folded or on a hanger.

Keep the shape

Fold pieces rather than hanging heavy tops on narrow hangers, and let them dry fully before putting them away. Avoid stretching the waist or cuffs when you pull them on. If a piece gets a wrinkle, hang it in the bathroom while you shower or smooth it by hand. Check the label for any other care note.

Wash a stretch blend with similar fabrics. Zippers and hook-and-loop closures can snag, so close them first. If the care note says tumble dry low, stay with that setting. Done regularly, this takes only a minute or two, and your sets keep a neat look from one week to the next.
